My aunt has been caring for her husband, who's been bedridden for years now and often confused from meds. After a recent 10-day hospice stay, theyre sending him home because insurance only covers 12 days. They've had long-term care insurance with John Hancock, but my aunt hasn't been able to file a claim to keep him in the facility, even though she's had almost 2 weeks. She's really overwhelmed and proud, so it's hard to help her out. I'm trying to figure out if it's the insurance or just the tough situation wearing her down.
