My old man turned 76 last month and he still lives along in his house and rejects the idea to come live with me or my brother. He's not a spring chicken, so I'm aware that potential accidents may become a regular thing. How can I combat this? I know I won't be able to stop him from tripping over or something like that, but is there some kind of a system to ensuyre that someone is notified when and if he has and accident?

You might want to look into medical alert systems or wearable fall detectors. They can notify you or emergency services immediately if he falls, giving some peace of mind without forcing him to move.
