Carelinx and care.com any good?

I know a few who had some good experiences with care.com and Carelinx, but Im looking for more feedback. My family is considering to hire private caregivers for my sisster, who has parkinson's and dementia. We'll keep using the VA provided agency, but we need more hours, and paying the agency directly would drain our savings too fast. Hiring privately could stretch our funds and possibly help us qualify for VA aid and Attendance. Are there other services out there that connect families with caregivers? Thanks

Looking beyond Care.com and CareLinx is a good move, especially for Parkinson's or dementia care. Sites like Sittercity and GreatAuPair can link you up with caregivers directly and might save you money.

Have you looked into Medicaid or VA Aid and Attendance benefits in your state? They could really help with costs.

What's your sister's care routine now, and what kind of extra assistance are you aiming for?

We're kind of in a similar boat with my uncle, and I've heard good things about Care.com and CareLinx too, but we haven't used them ourselves yet, someone mentioned Papa to me recently, and I think there are a few local groups where people post caregiver listings or recommendations, not sure how reliable any is though

Care.com & CareLinx are ok, but I think they are also a hit or miss depending on your area. Check out local caregiver groups on FB if there are any or sites like Sittercity to cast a wider net.
